Is it cheaper to refill or exchange my propane tank?
Refilling is almost always cheaper. Tank exchange services like Blue Rhino and AmeriGas only fill a 20-lb tank to about 15 lbs — you're paying for 5 lbs of propane you never receive. We refill your tank to its actual capacity, so you get every dollar's worth.
Do I need an appointment for a propane refill?
No. Just drive up during our regular hours (Mon-Fri 8-5, Sat 8-2). Most refills are done in 5-10 minutes. Call ahead only if you have a commercial-size or unusual tank and want to confirm we can handle it.
What sizes of propane tanks do you refill?
Standard 20-lb BBQ tanks, 30-lb and 40-lb RV cylinders, patio heater tanks, and food truck cylinders. Call us for larger commercial or specialty tanks at (925) 685-0101.

Can you fill an out-of-date or expired propane tank?
By law, propane tanks must be recertified after 12 years from manufacture. We can inspect your tank's date stamp and let you know if it's still valid. If it's expired, you'll need to either get it recertified or exchange it for a newer tank.
Do you fill RV propane tanks?
Yes — both portable RV cylinders (5, 7, and 11 gallon) and most permanently-mounted RV tanks. For motorhomes with built-in tanks, drive up so we can position the fill nozzle properly.
